Notary Cancellation Policy

At Official Notary Services, LLC, Your Business Matters. Our goal is to provide professional, reliable, and accountable services to all of our clients. We value our client's time and will make every effort to be flexible and accommodating to our client's schedule. We understand situations occur that require clients to cancel or reschedule an appointment. To ensure we can continue to provide excellent customer service for all of our clients, we have established the following cancellation policies for our services.

Please contact us by phone, text or email to cancel or reschedule services at least 24 hours prior to the appointment. This allows us ample time to adjust our schedule and travel routes accordingly, and gives us a chance to offer the time slot to another client.

We require all payments to be made in full at the time services are booked to ensure our clients are aware of our policies a

nd fees.  Once payment is made, no refunds are issued under any circumstance, however a credit for future services may be provided as outlined below.
*   Official Notary Services, LLC will issue a full credit in the amount paid at booking for future services when a cancellation of service occurs at least 24 hours prior to the appointment.

*  Same day cancellations will incur a cancellation fee equal to half the booking fee provided at the time of booking. Appointments made for same day service that are also cancelled the same day will only incur the cancellation fee if the notary has already begun traveling to the appointment. The notary will attempt to contact by text and/or email to communicate when the notary has begun travel.
*  If the appointment is a no-show, then Official Notary Services, LLC shall retain the full payment provided at the time of booking and no credit will be issued. The notary will wait 15 minutes from the appointment time for client to appear, and will attempt to contact the client before labeling the appointment a no show.
*  In keeping with the professional standards of our business, service that is refused by the notary due to improper or invalid identification, incoherent, confused or otherwise impaired signers, or because the signer that requires notarization is not present, or for any other reason compelled by law, Official Notary Services, LLC will retain the full amount paid at the time of the booking, and no refund or credit will be issued.
*  If the notarization cannot move forward for any reason other than a refusal of service by the notary, a cancellation/reschedule, or no-show,  a credit for future services will be provided in the amount paid upfront for the notarization service only($10.00 per signature, per document). The full travel fee will be retained by Official Notary Services, LLC for traveling to the appointment.
